Menus & Recipes

One recipe book the whole kitchen trusts

Plan the week's offerings meal by meal from a recipe library where every change is reviewed and signed before it reaches the stove.

What you get

Menus & Recipes, done properly

Weekly menu planner

Assign recipes to breakfast, lunch and dinner for every day, and start each week from your saved menu defaults.

Recipes that are signed, not just saved

Each recipe moves Draft → Submitted → Reviewed → Approved. Only an approved version is cooked from or added to a menu.

Every version kept

Edit an approved recipe and a new draft opens beside it. Compare versions and see who changed what, and when.

Ingredients in the right unit

Type grams or kilos, millilitres or litres — each line is stored in its item's own unit, so totals never mix 5 g with 0.2 kg.

Beyond the ingredient list

Cutting sheets, grinding pastes, pre-preparation lead times, cooking steps, QC standards and dish photos live on the same recipe.

Bulk import and export

Bring an existing recipe book in from Excel, review it as drafts, and export it back out at any time.

In practice

A day in the kitchen

  1. 1

The kitchen manager plans next week's menu on Thursday from approved recipes.

  2. 2

A cook improves the dal recipe; it waits as a draft until the head cook approves it.

  3. 3

From that day on, every cooking sheet uses the new version automatically.

Questions

About menus & recipes

Can we import our existing recipes?

Yes. Upload an Excel sheet of recipes; they arrive as drafts so someone can review them before they are approved for use.

What happens to menus when a recipe is updated?

Once the new version is approved, cooking sheets from today onwards are rebuilt from it. Past and frozen days are never changed.
